StellarNet Inc. introduces the ISA2000 PC plug-in
fiber optic spectrometers for UV, VIS, and NIR applications in the 200-1600nm range. Each
unit contains a 2048 wavelength scan memory and can provide quick 4ms
spectral data from a highly sensitive CCD detector (14x200um
pixels) or Photo Diode Array.
The spectrometers can provide down to 0.4nm resolution at FWHM and are
inserted directly into a PC's ISA bus adapter. Each board has a 500KHz A/D converter
for synoptic parallel operations. There are no moving parts or detector
sockets, suitable for industrial process applications or standard test and analysis.
Up to 16 units may be inserted into a PC chassis allowing simple
configurations for dual and multi-beam applications. The optical spectrograph
detaches conveniently which allows user upgradable optics for different range or
resolutions.
These high performance, low cost spectrometers retail for only $1995 and
have a choice of slit size, range and resolution. They make ideal OEM components for
application specific instrumentation used for process control and QC monitoring.
The Win95/NT based SpectraWiz tm operating software is included. It
acquires and displays the spectral data in real time for absorbance, transmittance (or
reflectance), and emission (or irradiance). Additional software available for Process
Control, Neural Networks, PLS, and Color QC.

The EPP2000C

StellarNet Inc. has developed the EPP2000C fiber optic
spectrometers for UV and VIS spectroscopy applications from 200-850nm. The system contains a 2048 wavelength scan memory and can
provide quick 4ms spectral data from an ultra sensitive CCD
detector or optional Photo Diode Array.
The spectrometer contains no mirrors and uses an aberration corrected holographic, concave
diffraction grating for superb imaging while minimizing stray light. The
unit provides 0.7nm resolution at FWHM and can connect directly to a PC's
enhanced parallel port (EPP) and eliminates the need for a separate
500KHz A/D converter.
The unit is designed to be vibration tolerant with no moving parts or detector
sockets, suitable for portable or industrial process stream applications
including remote sensing or standard test and analysis. Up to 8 units may be
daisy-chained on a single cable allowing simple configurations for dual and
multi-beam process applications.
This high performance, low cost spectrometer retails for $2595 with
choice of 10 or 25um slit. It makes an ideal OEM component for application specific
analytical instrumentation used in process control or QC monitoring.
